This extensive country house conversion and extension was managed by our chartered project manager.

All construction trades and craftspeople were provided through a synced programme; giving a total team solution. The end result is a fine modern family home that respects the history of the original building.

Key successes of this project were:

  • sourcing and using reclaimed local materials to match the existing building as closely as possible

  • sandblasting the existing oak frames and re-treating

  • working with our client to ensure disruption to family life was minimised

  • liaising with the Bat Conservation Trust

Extension and Internal Alterations

Contract Value: £280,000

Sussex Construction Project Management

This high specification extension and internal alteration to a large four bedroom detached home consisted of creating new family space; an open plan kitchen, dining and family area. At the front a new living room was formed by converting the existing double garage. On the first floor the two rear bedrooms were enlarged together with further internal alterations to create two new ensuites.

Key successes of this project were:

  • this high specification project included through colour render to avoid future painting for the client

  • installation of underfloor heating throughout

  • installing a 10m x 450mm beam to create the open plan family living space
